Quickstart
Install a Cortex client, sign in and complete your first reviewed task.
1. Choose a work surface
Section titled “1. Choose a work surface”Use Cortex in a supported IDE, browser extension, Android, iPhone, Cortex Discover or Cortex CLI. Install only from the official marketplace or the authenticated Pervaziv Console.
2. Sign in
Section titled “2. Sign in”Open Cortex and continue in the browser. Choose an allowed identity provider, complete any organization approval, then return to the client.
3. Start a task
Section titled “3. Start a task”Open a workspace or page and state an outcome with constraints, for example:
Explain the failing test, propose the smallest fix, and ask before changing files.
Review the context Cortex selected, any requested action, the resulting diff, and validation output. Approvals are specific to the displayed action.
4. Continue elsewhere
Section titled “4. Continue elsewhere”Open the same session from another Cortex client. Cortex Connect restores the authoritative transcript, progress and pending decisions.
