Files, voice and exports

Attach supported files from the message composer. Cortex validates file type, size and attachment count before sending and can apply enabled privacy or prompt-protection scans to selected text content. Remove an attachment before sending if it is not needed for the task.

Voice-to-text input is available after microphone permission is granted in the extension settings. Browser permission remains under the browser’s control and can be revoked there.

Download a message or conversation as PDF, Markdown, plain text or a Word document. Eligible accounts can prepare an export for Slack or email. Review the export audience and contents before sending; generated files can contain page text, source snippets or enterprise context.
