Chats, collections and forks

The browser side panel supports multiple named chats and saved chat history. Create, rename, restore, pin, export or delete a chat from the history menu. Search can cover all chats or the current collection.

Collections organize related chats in a nested structure. Create, rename, move, archive or restore a collection and move one or more chats between collections. Refresh the collection view when another Cortex surface has changed it.

Use Fork from here to explore an alternate direction from a restorable message checkpoint without replacing the original conversation. Parent and branch relationships remain visible in history. A fork reuses prior context; verify that repository revisions and external information are still current.
